Physical Barriers:
The physical barriers for 29 Klein Constantia will be comprised of:

  1. Wall to the South end side
  2. Clearview perimeter fencing to North, East & West sides
  3. Automated Steel bar gate to main entrance
  4. All perimeter barriers will be secured with electrified fencing & security cameras

Clearview perimeter fencing provides a strong, traditional and aesthetically pleasing look, fitting for the setting of the estate. Electric fencing above is a proven method of complementing these effective barriers.

High Security Electric Fencing:
Electric fencing has evolved significantly since the early days. When installed correctly and professionally it can be the most effective method of fulfilling all three security criteria. When implemented incorrectly it can prove to be completely ineffective and even advertise a lack of security to would be intruders.

To this end, we have proposed installing a fully integrated electric fence system. This starts with manageable sectors to enable fast response to the correct area. Full power backup in the event of power failure and multiple communication pathways, including fibre optic cables to ensure reliable operation.

Access Control:
Access to 29 Klein Constantia will be from Klein Constantia road via a single, combined entrance and exit. This entrance will also have a Guard room which could be utilized for such by the homeowners. The proposed system has been designed to allow for both the guard to act as concierge for all the homeowners, verifying and allowing access, and to be used as a standalone, unmanned entrance system communicating directly with the homeowners. All access control systems will be power backed up for continued use during power outages. An additional locking mechanism for the swing gates has been included to ensure complete lockdown, preventing prying apart of the gates.

All systems communicating along the perimeter as well as to the homeowners shall utilize reliable fibre optics. Wireless signaling for primary systems is avoided for many reasons, not least of which reliability.

Internet Access:
Due to the high level of integration between the security systems, perimeter ducting and access required to the individual homes, Access to internet services, such as fibre may be made via a single point on the estate and redistributed by us to the homes.

Power Backup:
A Complete power backup solution has been provided for, allowing for continued use of the security systems during power outages. Not just safe shutdown as other solutions offer.
